Flying lemurs or colugos don't fly, but they can glide long distances. They live their entire lives in the trees, and look like strange squirrels when not flying. When they glide they flatten out and the flaps of skin that connect their front and hind legs catches the air. They are found in south-east Asia, and are not too closely related to other mammals.
