Dale is the son of David and Eliza Browe. He grew up in Corax, Ohio where he graduated from Ohio High School. He attended Corvus community college where he graduated with honors in literature and education. He served in the military for several years before returning to his boyhood home. He is the father of three children: Allen, Virginia and Frances. Leda grew up in nearby Cygnus, Ohio. She also attended Ohio High School and then was accepted at The Lyceum, a liberal arts school where she studied drama. In college, she was involved in many sororities and worked her way into computer design and art. She is currently rearing her four children, Helen Goddard, daughter of the late Theo Goddard, and the three children shared by Leda and Dale.
